Dr. Dustin Agan from Houston, Texas, and Dr. Sanjay Vohra, from Las Vegas, Nevada, spent a day training with Dr. Fastabend earlier this month on Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS). IVUS is used to visualize blockages in pelvic veins causing pain and swelling in the legs in order to place stents to provide relief. They are among many physicians from across the country who have traveled to Lake Charles to receive specialized training from Dr. Fastabend, who is considered an expert in this technique.
